/e/OS Installer unable to install /e/OS on Fairphone 4

I try to install /e/OS on my Fairphone 4, the /e/OS installer always stop at 65/100 with this error:

" Error on step: device-detection

Cannot execute command connect adb
Cannot execute command download
Cannot download
downloadAll error downloadAndUnzipFolder Error
current_file https://images.ecloud.global/official/FP4/IMG-e-latest-a14-official-FP4.zip
Download fails Cannot download chunk (2) 77 Request timed out: GET https://images.ecloud.global/official/FP4/IMG-e-latest-a14-official-FP4.zip
Proposal: Retry by refreshing this page."

I’ve tried it many times always the same…

any ideas?

I tried it on a Mac with chromium…

Are you able to explore if there is plenty of free space for the download? I don’t know which would be the working directory but Chromium may download into some size limited space, perhaps.

The need for a good capacity data cable is often a problem but as your FP4 seems to have been identified the cable may be ok.

A Mac can also have problems with “unknown executables” – I have no knowledge to help on this though but it might account for the rather vague error.

Yes, there is plenty of free space for the download… I tried it tomorrow agein on a Linux PC again, maybe it works on this OS…?

On a Linux PC it was no problem. I think it doesn’t work out of the box on a Mac…
