/e/OS on Motorola Edge 2021

Hello All,
I am new to the /e/OS community.
I instilled the latest version (community build 1.21 brelna on motorola edge 2021)
Everything work great except, I can make a call hear, the ringing but if the call picks up or is sent to voicemail there is no sound and then the call drops after some time. I can reply to an incoming call with a text message, and it will go through. No sound in call!
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Can you search for your combo of e and phone at xda, github and reddit if there are known issues? Next thing is to search another release. Maybe an earlier or later one has not this problem.

It would probably be worth testing a different Dialer app. Try Simple dialer still found in App Lounge.

The same problem occurred with my Galaxy S4 Active with e-1.21-r-20240323388943-dev-jactivelte, which I was able to solve as follows with the SIM card inserted:

  1. First Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth (Settings - Reset options)

  2. Then cold start = switch off the device completely.
    (Note: “cold start” is not the same as “restart”).

  3. Wait a few seconds.

  4. Now restart the device with the SIM card inserted. The SIM card is now resynchronized with the carrier data.

From then on, I could hear the ring signal as usual and make 4G LTE calls.

As an alternative dialer app I use Fossify Phone
