/e/OS on Samsung Z flip 6?

Dear all,

A family member is considering acquiring the latest Samsung Galaxy Flip Z 6, released in July 2024, and would be interested in using /e/OS instead of Android.
Alas, there is currently no LineageOS build for the Flip series, with the exception of the 1.
Are there any plans to port /e/OS to these devices in the future? I seem to have read that the bootloader can be unlocked without any problem.

Thanks in advance! Cheese

Regain your privacy! Adopt /e/OS the deGoogled mobile OS and online servicesphone

No source codes, no party:

Thank you for your quick answer,

Does that mean Samsung does not provide the source code that is necessary to build the ROM? Or is it rather a Work In Progress? (according to the github page it seems people do work on it?)

Thanks!

XDA is also a good source to look. The Samsung Z Flip is much to new.

The only Lineage version I could find is for the Samsung Z Flip

Thank you very much for the information!

On the other way, not especially specific to the z flip x.
Is there some possibilities to use some eOs tools like advance privacy, parental control, and cloud-sync tools by devices with official rom (not lineageos like eos) ?
Just for waiting purpose until eos would be available for the device…

That’s maybe a question for extra topic…
