/e/OS-U GSI (A14) UNOFFICIAL

I tried several MediaTek devices and @Colors was right, you can fix bluetooth problem with phh settings, under bluetooth workaround you can choose mediatek.

I will test more but good stuff :+1:

It would be helpful to know which models of MediaTak chipsets (SoC) are involved, because my experience shows that higher-value the SoC, the more differentiated the results with CustomGSI.

You are right, it’s Helio P65, Helio G88 and Dimensity 700.

I will test even more.

SoC: MediaTek Dimensity 700 MT6833

:x: Non - 5G / 4G LTE, 2G; SMS; Mobile data
X This malfunction also occurs with other CustomGSIs, regardless of whether the GSI is based on LineageOS or pure AOSP code. The MediaTek chipsets and firmware are the problem.

@Xxpsilon is now /E/OL.

Hi colors, is the source of this GSI or any instructions on building this available? I’m looking into building a GSI for a "special’ device, namely the bigme hibreak pro which requires a few E-ink tweaks!

Hi, diedeboef!
If you browse above you will find the instructions.

Oh completely missed that one, you are a hero!

I’ve been following the tutorial and its been going well!

Some small tip

  1. in step one, when downloading all of the repo’s it is important that after you run the described command, you first remove the line locating github in the local_manifests/manifest.xml file. because the repo sync wont work without.

additionally, im experiencing 3 bugs;
namely that the square app overview button doesnt seem to work
