The developer of searx fork is on github, i wonder if we can reach out to them directly to add that by default
searxng has a map search category, it’s hidden currently with the murena spot instance, use a “bang” as in !osm !map or !photon
The criticism currently for the feature is - it will fetch map previews for all search hits (that weren’t too accurate when testing) - and then quickly be rate limited. There’s one open issue to ask to unify this…

I did not know SearX had bangs. Is that because DDG is turned on as a search engine in Settings or is it part of SearX?
