The issues the linked threads of 2022 or 2024 go back to are fixed since long. Most eDrive “hard” errors not a few months old would need to be dismissed. As of many weeks after the outage, eDrive sync is functional - they just introduced a checkmark that disables sync remote-side to avoid file collisions / overwrites. You could suffer from that?
