Hi guys, I have just installed e/os/ on my pixel 7, so super new here.
I tried to install the element app via the App Lounge, but the install fails. It simply says “retry”.
Any thoughts on how I might get this to work?

I can get the Element app through App Lounge and it installs (older Pixel though). Was this a transient issue and is gone now for you?
Your post here got me to try it again. Alas, it still does not work. It downloads, attempts to install and then says “retry”. Who knows what’s going on…
AppLounge will use the f-droid package over the playstore package if found. You could either just use the F-Droid client or if you want the playstore version, use Aurora. If it still fails, in Aurora settings you can spoof to another device if whatever it is with the pixel7 device profile that blocks an install. As said, I’d use F-Droid directly
