@Manoj please move this post if this is not the correct place.

Has anyone received email from a payment company called “Link”, see attached screenshots, or is this spam?

I think you got a typo.

thanks you @mihi fixed…

Stripe / Link is probably moderately aggressive judging by

Frictionless checkout
Boost conversion at checkout with Link

seen https://stripe.com/gb/payments/link … you would surly know if you had an account.

Rather than click on a link you should be able to long press a link, the url is fully revealed if you click on the shortened version at the top of that panel or you can copy the link to a note.

I just wonder how they got the email address in the first place, easy if they come here I guess.

And you mean long press in a phone correct, or does that also work on PC?

Edit: Right yes I would know and I don’t have an account. Wondering if others getting this spam?

Yes, that long press works on default /e/OS Browser. I rarely click on a link without knowledge of where it goes … commonly on a PC, hover reveals it on the status bar (settings permitting, I guess).

The only reason I said anything here I thought it may have been a Promo email from Murena, was half asleep when I first looked at it.

And the link is like a spam link.
