den Bootloader habe ich entsperrt.
Kann ich die Neuste eOS Version vom 15.08.2026 Android 16 auf mein Android 15 GS6
flashen…..

I bought my GS6 in mid-july, but unfortunately i can’t remember which version was installed on it..
In any case, i first checked for updates while the phone was still running the original OS and installed them. This is also recommended by other sources.
First i tried to flash e/os with the web-application but this failed. The phone ended up in a endless loop running the boot-loader and restarting…
(Must fastboot be installed using the web-application?)
Then i downloaded the image and after installing fastboot it worked with the installation script.

Ungewöhnlicherweise wird auf der Installationsseite nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass die Android-Version für dieses Gerät entscheidend ist.

Es tut mir leid, aber ich habe mich bei dem Folgenden nicht auf die maschinelle Übersetzung verlassen
This is a new device to be able to advise with certainty. This
shows a well defined vendor partition.
If study of the install script after download shows that the install script is
“fastboot flash all”
to all partitions (similar to above)
to both slots
this would tend to confirm that the install method is able to change Android version.

successful…..works great with Gigaset GS6 pro…….

No, you will need to send your device to Gigaset because they don’t want to publish their software

Da wir ja im deutschsprachigen Forum sind, frag ich einfach mal so in meiner Muttersprache:
Gäbe es denn einen Anlass, auf das Stock-Android zurückrüsten zu wollen oder war das nur eine obligatorische Frage?
Ich muss zugeben: Da ich mich aktuell immer wieder darüber ärgere, dass mein Akku (gefühlt) ständig leer ist (naja, alle 3 Tage eben), hatte ich schon kurz den Gedanken, zu einem Gigaset zu wechseln (zögerte jedoch wegen der Größe und des Gewichts, aber das muss man wohl bei stärkeren Akkus in Kauf nehmen) oder es zumindest mal in Betracht zu ziehen…
Vorübergehend stolperte ich über die Feststellung, dass das Gigaset bei LineageOS keine Berücksichtigung findet, wäre aber auch nicht soooo dramatisch, kann mir meine Wunschkombination an Software selbst zusammenstellen, solange das ROM wie erwartet funktioniert (was dann jetzt meine obige Fragestellung erklärt)…
