During the installation process on an Xperia 5 III (pdx214), on the step “Ensuring all firmware partitions are consistent”, I received an error when running adb sideload copy-partitions-20220613-signed.zip.
The error was displayed on the phone in recovery mode and said
Signature verification failed
Install anyway?
I answered no.
A workaround was to first flash dtbo.img, vbmeta.img, vendor_boot.img, boot.img from LineageOS and then the adb sideload copy-partitions-20220613-signed.zip worked without any error. I then went back to fastboot mode and flashed /e/OS images from the recovery folder.
