I use Proton as a subscribed user and have no problem. Have You tried to log in on a different device - like PC etc. to check if your login credentials/password work there? Or try the browser log in on the phone, but You may still try and blame the e/OS, hence use a different device to be sure…

P.S. I am on /e/ v.4.2 and it worked on 4.1.1 as well as 4.0 before. Gigaset GS6 Pro bought with e/OS pre-loaded. I don’t think it’s an OS (/e/) problem TBH.

Just to clarify, have You logged out and logged back in on those using the same credentials/password?

Manually, not through auto log in.

Try turning off WiFi and use your 4G connection.

There is a known problem of WiFi not connecting through IPv6 on FP6. Maybe the login uses this protocol?

Proton works on my ipad and FP6 in wifi and 4G but not on the FP6+,

If You log in manually on the phone and 100% sure using correct details, I would strongly suggest raising a ticket with Proton support to see what they say.

P.S. Have You tried to log in through the browser on your FP6 on protonmail.com to see if it’s the same?

**Issue**: Proton Mail login fails on Fairphone 6+ Murena

**Details**:

  • Device: Fairphone 6+ (Snapdragon 7s Gen 4)
  • OS: Murena /e/OS
  • App: v7.11.5
  • Error: “Login credentials are not correct”

**Important**: Same credentials work on FP6 (Gen 3) and iPad with no issues. Tried microG registration, DNS changes, cache clearing, reinstall. Problem persists.

Anyone else experiencing this with Snapdragon 7s Gen 4? Any workaround?

I managed to connect to all Proton apps by means of a QR code:

1. Open any Proton app from the device you want to connect to.

2 On the login screen, select Password • Forgot or Login issues? (on mobile apps, select Help

3 Select Sign in with a QR code.

A QR • Code will appear.

4 On this device, tap Scan QR code and • Scan the code.

But the problem is not solved.
