You can search here: Compare Travel eSIMs for Europe | Search 160+ Providers

Use the filters, in particular the Advanced filters, to narrow down the choices to fit your needs, e.g. duration, amount of data needed, whether a local phone number should be included, etc.

You don’t necessarily have to buy from that website; you can find the info, then go to the website of the seller directly.

You could also just go to the websites of the major networks in the country or countries you’re planning to visit. If you’re staying within the EU, an eSIM from one EU country should work in the rest of them.

The process is usually:

  • Purchase an eSIM.
  • Scan the provided QR code to install (or enter the alphanumeric code).
  • Check the installed eSIM’s settings if something isn’t working. (It should be OK, though.)

Those eSIMs typically have a start and end date, so wait until your trip begins, or is about to begin, to activate yours.

When you land in Europe, you’ll switch to using the eSIM instead.

Thank you, this is helpful.

I hope it works, because i had once really trouble with a new physical sim.
Nobody knew how to do the settings until the last 2 days of my travells.
