Dear community, Im curious if the issues with the Esim not working on E/OS have been fixed. Last year I went to Sri Lanka, after having the FP6 for 2 months, I tried using an Esim at that time, but unfortunately it didn’t work so I had to get a physical sim. This time around im heading to China, and want to ensure I do have a working sim, or get a VPN instead.

I’m not sure what the exact issues were with esims, and whether they were carrier specific, but they can work OK. I have a UK giffgaff esim enabled in my FP6 and it works fine.

Edit (after reading a subsequent post): dual sim set-up, with the physical sim set as primary sim for everything.
I am using the eSIM on /e/OS 4.2 FP6 and it works fine.
My carrier is spusu (Austria).
Using dual sim, 1 sim + 1 esim on a FP6 with e/OS 4.2 without any problems.

Thank you, I trialed the Nomad eSIM for free for 3 days and it was working very well, so it mightve been the eSIM provider that was the issue last time!
