eSIM transfer via EID (sim slot 2) QR code?

I discovered that in “Settings / About phone” there is - at least for me - a new entry called “EID (sim slot 2)”. Tapping that shows the EID and a QR code.

What I couldn’t figure out yet is if that EID and QR code is of some help to transfer the eSIM to a new /e/OS device/installation. Strangely, the QR code cannot be taken by a screenshot (picture shows neither the EID nor the QR code).

Does anyone know what’s the story about this entry “EID (sim slot 2)” and the QR code?

I’m on FP4 / 2.6.3-u / 1 activated physical SIM / 1 activated eSIM

Did you see this thread eSIM Activation Error - Murena Mobile.

This build (FP4 / 2.6.3-u) was withdrawn due to the non function of eSIM.

I suggest you back off trying to get eSIM to work until you can upgrade to version e-2.7.

Yep, I did. But my eSIM works perfectly on 2.6.3-u and I’m just curious what the entry EID (sim slot 2) and especially the QR code means.
