Essential HP-1 stock after last june 25 update

Hi,

After I installed last OS update on Essential HP-1, my cell boot, but the screen and volume up/down doesn’t answer. I can only make a hard shutdown with power button. Anybody has this problem? Is there a way to get back?

crazy, I would prefer

  1. reboot in TWRP via ‘adb reboot recovery’ or hardware keys (I hope that will still work) and wipe cache and davlik
    if 1 not working:
  2. download older eOS version and flash it via TWRP

It’s look like I lost TWRP, I have the lineage recovery…

When I execute adb devices, I can’t see my device. Essential phones have 2 slots, is it possible that the update switch slot?

You can flash also with LOS recovery I think.
But you can also reflash TWRP.

I only have very small knowledge of a/b devices, sorry

fastboot getvar all
...
(bootloader) current-slot:_b
...

(to set, on essential it’s not a|b it’s _a|_b)

fastboot --set-active=_b

I think it’s because I just don’t understand what is a slot when I flash my phone, and I set slot _b. Update seems to switch it on slot _a.
