Failed to Install /e/ os on CMF phone 1

Hello,

I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I’m having a bit of trouble with my CMF phone 1. I tried to install /e/ OS on it using the installer and Edge on my Mac, but it didn’t work. Now, the phone is stuck in a boot loop and says something about an orange state. I managed to turn it off by navigating through some very old-looking menus. I also managed to get rid of the dead Android robot that was briefly shown to me.

Can anyone help me out? I don’t want to end up in a Google-free world like this.

Hello @sebastian1981, Welcome to the /e/ users forum.

The web-installer lead many users to this forum (it is its good face…).
Solution is to follow Install /e/OS on a Nothing Nothing CMF Phone 1 - “tetris” (your bootloader is already unlocked…)

The android site has different versions of the Platform Tools as you can see in the screenshot below. Each is built for a particular Computer environment.
