Fairphone 6 doesn't vibrate or do haptics (except for on boot)

As the title says, my FP6 doesn’t use the vibration/haptic motor at all, except for the one pulse during boot. This includes all notifications, alarms, phone calls, haptic feedback, and the f-droid checkup app.

Every switch in the settings app I can find is turned on, and I don’t have any do-not-disturb modes turned on. I’ve tried reconnecting the speaker/haptic assembly, to no result. (The speaker does work as expected). OS version 3.5-a15-20260211580868-official-FP6 (the latest one).

It’s quite peaceful to be honest but my family is starting to get annoyed because I never pick up their calls.

Any ideas?

Hi @mossy welcome to the /e/ users forum. The haptics motor has been reported weak on FP6 but this Weak vibration motor on FP6 - #15 by lostinafro suggests a fix for not working.
