I bought the new fairphone 6 and went through the steps vd e/os installer.
Once I connect the usb cable in the fairphone to my labtop I do see my fairphone 6 on my labtop and click connect.
After that nothing happens, can anyone give me any tips?

It is not supported as far as I know. Don’t see it as supported
I believe this upcoming release is supposed to support FP6 through the installer. If so, you should be able to use it soon. Otherwise the manual method did work for me, but if you’ve never played with Android stuff like that it could be a little daunting.

I recently did the manual method on linux. Was quite scary since I’ve never done anything like it. But just read everything carefully and it will be fine.

I second this. You just have to do the correct preparations like check if fastboot works as intended then you’ll know if you can carry on.
I did the same. The web base install died short before it was done. I switched to the manual instructions and everything was fine on my FP6.
I used the installer yesterday. Everything went smooth. I just did not lock the bootloader at the end as I read here in the forum that the current version security patch date was June 1st but FP6 comes with patch from 5th
