Fairphone 6 Error on step: connect-bootioader

The Fairphone 6 is officially supported by the Installer.
After following the steps from the /e/OS (web)Installer, at my 2nd try, at the end I get the following error:

Error on step: connect-bootloader
Cannot execute command flashing unlock
Cannot execute command flash devcfg_a devcfg.img
error flashing file devcfg.img Bootloader emor: Bootloader replied with FAIL: Flashing is not allowed for Critical Partitions

At the 2nd try I got the bootloader screen that says: DEVICE STATE - unlocked , see screenshot
where the 1st try it was locked.
End at last I got the 2nd screenshot berfore it rebooted in Android 15

There is no documented way to collect a log from eosinstaller so it is very hard to help without very specific details.

Did you read some of the threads with hashtags fp6 + eosinstaller to see some of the progess and help given to others?

I think also referring to (or better changing to) the “manual” install page Install /e/OS on a Fairphone The Fairphone (Gen. 6) - “FP6” is a good step.

.

because even well illustrated, the “web-installer” often don’t work,

and because the official documentation is imbuvable for some new users.

.

.

here we take the Fairphone 6 as example,

@aibd I was already afraid that this was going to be the answer, so I will go manual.
Thanks for your reply
