Fairphone 6 problems on e.foundation installer

I am trying to install e/OS on a new Fairphone 6 and I can’t get the phone restart in bootloader mode at Step 9/24.

I’m using Windows 10 and Chrome and I’ve hit the same issue 5 times. Any ideas where I am going wrong?

Manual install as recommended by @piero will be much easier than debugging eosinstaller .The screen shows several reasons for the fail.

Simplest is that the USB cable is not a high quality data cable with perfect connection to the PC … or that the part of the message

'requestDevice' on 'USB': No device selected.

comes from WebUSB. You might research your browser to see if WebUSB is toggled off (or even missing … some users may prefer WebUSB off by default).
