Fairphone android 14

I saw that fairphone announced in July 2024 the transition to Android 14, when will e/os be able to offer an update in order to move to Android 14 and continue to get the usual e/os updates?

So far we just know that Murena is planning to release /e/OS U a.k.a. Android 14 for the FP3, FP4 and FP5, but no ETA (estimated time of arrival) yet. Until then, we will continue to get security updates for Android 13.

[LIST] Devices to get a /e/OS U or Android 14 build

This is the first list of currently supported devices that will be getting an A14 or /e/OS U build. This list will see additions and deletion based on inputs from build teams and users. Murena devices are not in this list. We will share details about their OS upgrade separately We will share details as to which of these builds will be OTA. Most of the builds will require manual installation. We will update our install guides to assist users. The list of new devices to get on the supported list …
