First from my daily practice, I got working
-
I’ve successfully used FP3 as mobile-net access-point connecting my notebook via USB-C tethering.
-
On the other hand, I’ve been using LAN via USB-C-adapter for using the internet.
-
I normally use netguard, also used a combination with hidden ip for selected apps
What I haven’t tested yet is using the “hidden ip” (advanced privacy) option when I use it as access-point - to tunnel all traffic of the connected notebook through the tor-network.
Does anybody have experience with this?
My best wish is to use a USB-C hub on the device to connect both the attached notebook via USB-C and connect the fairphone to LAN (direct or via adapter)
Does anybody use a USB-C-Hub on the Fairphone?
Is that possible?
I don’t want to use netguard, when this works - I would then use the Fairphone exclusively as access-point with minimum apps running on it.
I got this idea inspired by " No SIM? No Problem!" from Naomi Brockwell TV
