eBay has been one of my most significant gaps since migrating to /e/; neither the Aurora store or native Apps versions work properly. What I’ve noticed is that if I use Firefox as a browser and visit the eBay site, the “Add to Home Screen” dialog becomes an “Install” dialog ton install their PWA. From there, I can “install” the app and it will work perfectly. Unfortunately, I don’t have the same option via the default browser (never switches from Add to Install), nor is eBay available as a PWA in the Apps store.
I’m a minimalist kinda guy, and don’t really want to have two browsers on my phone just for a handful of apps. Is there any change the Browser can be updated to be better at sniffing out PWAs?
