Hello together,
is there a technical way to restrict file access for apps to only one folder (or only SD Card,…)? I think this is possible at iOS and I dont like the thought of giving apps that for example need to save files sometimes (e. g. messenger) access to my whole storage.

One way I know is to use Shelter : it will use a “work” profile (a second Android user with separate storage).
Thank you, I know this app. But I think you dont get notifications when youre not in the profile (?) an besides that, it’d be nice for every app - why should for example a browser use other folders than the download folder?
For me, it’d be a nice feature 
I too think this is an essential privacy feature.
