I fully fully support 1. This is a really important feature to me and it’s been annoying me for months. Probably having it as a toggle in settings would be best

Regarding 2 it’d be a cool option but not a priority (for me) and probably should have a separate thread for discussion IMO. I can see why it wouldn’t be desired by some
