If i try to open updater the app directly shuts down. Can’t open it (see screenshot).

After Update i got the same problem as @Mothboy and solved this behavior by clearing the hole memory!
In addition now on every boot/reboot a dialog says ‘com.qualcomm.qti.workloadclassifier’ stop working! It’s very strange, cause a look in App-Info tells me this App is active! Having no idea.

What worked for me is the following. Open “Settings,” and type in the search bar : updater.
Open Updater “App info” then open “Storage&Cache”.
Clear Storage and Clear Cache. Close settings and then open “Settings”, “Updater” and Updater App
worked again.

The version of ME in App Lounge is now 7.1.23.29. Why ship an older version with 1.14? Will it replace my version of the app with the older one?
A sub minor revision difference… life is harsh ;- ) Aside from that there is perhaps a real problem…

OK for my S9+ (Samsung S9+ SM-G965F (purchased in /e/-shop)).
Rooted : no
updated from 1.13 to 1.14 (e_star2ite-user 10 QQ3A.200805.001 eng.root.20230815.185937 dev-keys,stable-release)
There is still no icons reorganization.
I’m testing if the battery drain is still present.
The Seek app (INaturalist) seems to go fine ! (ref ).

…download went smooth in 5 minutes, but the update is running for 2 hours now and has just reached 24%. That’s not acceptable for a phone with preinstalled /e/OS. To me it feels like the system is getting worse with each update!

Have you set the ‘Time-out’ in your screen settings to ‘30 minutes’ so that you can keep the screen active during the update process?

Everything seems OK.
The battery drain issue, appeared on the previous version, seems to have been resolved.

Everything’s running well. The app “Maps” (Magic earth) has moved to the last screen of the launcher, but I did easily reorganised it to it’s original place.
I like the new “Notes” app layout.

I downloaded the update and initiated the install process.
Phone rebooted and started install (I think), but is stuck on a slightly illuminated, dark, blank screen and does not advance.
A press of the power button, which would normally deactivate the screen, does nothing.
It has been in this state for over 20 minutes and counting.
What should I do? Hard power-down? (If that’s possible.)
EDIT:
Power button does not power down phone.
Vol Up+Power until 3 vibrations (indicating soft reset, I think) powers the phone down.
Vol Down+Power (to boot into recovery from the powered off state) returns to the original problem: dark screen (power is on) that won’t advance.
Power on (from powered off state) flashes vendor screen, but then returns to the dark screen (power is on) that won’t advance.
Any suggestions, anyone?

Same issue on my FP3+ just after installation of 1.14
oneplus 8, not rooted, updated 1.14… boots to lock screen, then stuck, screen display not respond to any touch, used up vol and power to reboot 3 times, same result… useless, not functioning
