Can check on this and get back by Monday, as the team member responsible is on vacation. The problem with builds is we need to release it for most of the devices. That involves some testing as well. Only after that can we release it. All that same will check and update

OS OTA upgrades are for stable builds only. The idea started to upgrade our customer phones. Hope to get it to work for all devices /stable and dev. The upgrade activity is slightly complicated as it requires an update of the OS version with zero data loss.

Thank you very much, that explains it. Will see if it becomes available for dev at a later point (or perhaps I’ll make the jump to S manually instead if that’s possible earlier).

This was all about Q to R (10 to 11) on FP3.
R to S (11 to 12) on FP4 is still a manual process (no OTA upgrade for this) and S for FP4 may still be in beta status for FP4.

FP4 does not got Android 12 (S) build yet. The work is still on progress.
I think an OTA upgrade possibility is on the way too…
By the way 1.5 has been updated yesterday night. Everything runs like a charm. Thank you very much to the whole team!

Hi there! Updated to 1.5-20221028230215 on Fairphone 3+
Issue: the “recent”-button (according to the official google-name for this button), that normally opens thumbs of all open apps to switch between them or close all of them, does not work. every now and then touching it causes trebuchet to crash, showing a note accordingly.
the gps-issue (Feedback for v1.4 - #91 by beeblebrox), caused by the 1.4-update, is not fixed.
apart from these two flaws, update was quick and smooth. thank You!

I suggest you try
Settings > Apps and notifications > Show all … apps > 3 dot menu top right, Show system > Trebuchet > Storage & cache > Clear storage | Clear cache.

I successfully updated my FP3+ from Android 10 1.4 to Android 11 1.5 (stable) and everything just works great. What a wonderful surprise. No data loss and a full Android version upgrade! Great work guys, I just donated to the /e/ foundation and encourage others to do so as well, keep up the good work 
(FYI I’m in no way affiliated to the /e/ foundation)

Yesterday I received the Update to 1.5 and installed it on my FP3.
I am really thrilled, that it has Upgrade the OS Version to R.

Samsung Galaxy S10e : 1.5 works has worked perfectly for three days, no bug noticed.
MMS are working very well even with SFR and Free french carriers ! I did not have to modify APN
