Feedback for v2.7

All devices we sell or have sold in our Murena Shop in the past, are candidates for OS upgrade. The only reason why there is a delay in the Android 13 or 14 upgrade is, we try to send out the OS upgrade as an OTA build.
This takes time and is more complex than a manual upgrade build.
In case a device cannot be upgraded for whatever reason we will inform the users.

Now I am able to tell yoh that alsa my eSIM works after I received another QR code for the same number and reinstall.

I used Heimdall from Feb 2020 on windows and drivers from March 2021.

Everything went smooth. Little bugs of 2.6.3 dissapeared (Fairphone camera - complete pixel useless; launcher unstable). Great upgrade. Thanks!

I got 1 problem , with App lounge it want’s to update Aurora store but it does not work.
Pressing retry does not help.

Are you sure about that? It’s not the case for me. Pictures taken with complete pixel have only 2.8MP.

Device works well except wireless screencasting which ceased working with the Android 14 upgrade.

I encounter no provlem with Upgrade.
No problem with eSIM.
No problem to take 48MP pictures with the Fairphone camera software.

There is only one thing that annoy me. On startup, the lock screen appears and then it asks me for my pin code. This thing appeared since upgrading to Android 14. I didn’t have this kind of thing with Android 13. Is there a way to remove this lock screen ?

Otherwise, all went fine. Thanks you Team.

Updated my pixel 7a lynx, unrooted, through OTA, without any issue.
Previously on 2.6.3-u, now 2.7-u
The update was fast and easy.

I tried to take 48MP picture with Fairphone camera, and no problem for me too. In the information of the picture, it is set to 8000x6000 resolution.

Regarding this higher resolution of Fairphone camera, I had opened a JIRA ticket (for the FP5): FP5 50Mpx photos seem only interpolated from 12Mpx (#8193) · Issues · e / Backlog · GitLab. The answer from Murena was that 50MP photos do not give more detail than 12MP photos, because of “pixel binning”.
So, in my opinion, there is really no point in using 50MP resolution (that takes much more storage space for no interest)

After the update of this Thursday 01/16/2025, the ‘Gallery’ application no longer allows images to be trashed. When you click on the image and want to delete it, the message indicates that the image is ‘moved to the trash’, but it remains.
I am on a Fairphone 4. E/OS version in French, because I am in French-speaking Belgium, 2.7-u-20250109460370-official-FP4. Thank you in advance for your help.
