Thank you for the 3.1.1 release.
Do the developers know whether the Android 15 /e/OS builds for the Fairphone 5 (currently community only), such as 3.1.1, are likely to fail to boot with a faulty fingerprint sensor, in the same way that official fairphone.com Android 15 builds fail?
(That is, have the developers done anything specific to mitigate this? Or, do you know whether the root cause is likely to be in components /e/OS inherits from Fairphone, or from LineageOS, or elsewhere?)
(I’m sure Fairphone themselves don’t yet have a software fix for the issue – they just made a new A15 release without a fix. They say they’re working on it.)
