Dear All, I runs e/os 3.3 on Moto 34G

i receive notification via OTA of release 3.4 but i did not install because i read of some little problems in comparison to 3.3

Now is available the 3.5 via ZIP file for sideload.

Do you think that will arrive via OTA the notification for 3.5 ?

Or i should before install 3.4 via OTA and after I will get 3.5 OTA Notifications.

As I have already written for version 3.3 community Feedback for v3.3 - #322 by VitTh (and also for 3.4) as soon as the update is installed the camera works and then at the second start it freezes and becomes unusable. It is evidently a software problem in /e/OS present since August 2025 and never solved. Thank you.

The update went successfully (by OTA). At the first start I have seen the black screen for a few second before insert the SIM pin. The device works fine. I tried to reboot the device and i didnā€™t see the black screen. So all fine. Iā€™m very happy that the dev team implementing the different charged mode (slow and fast). Thank to the team. Great job :slight_smile:

Since version 3.3 Iā€™ve massive issues with my e-SIM. It randomly stops working, but it is not visible that there is an issue. I just realize it, when I try to call someone and there is nothing else on the phone app than the name of the person/number I try to call. Normally there are five buttons like to mute, add numbers, change sim card and so on. The call cannot be done in that case.

Furthermore, for people trying to call me there is a free sign, so they think my phone is ringing. I do not get any notification, not even that a call was missed by SMS.

The only way to solve this is to restart the phone, when I realize that the issue happens againā€¦

By the way, when the issue accures, the eSIM cannot be deactivated nor the flight mode is working. Of course, it is possible to activate the flight mode, but the physical SIM and the eSIM card are still showing their connection is activated.

I am using this phone for more than two years and till version 3.3 there had been no issues with the eSIM that I have noticedā€¦

Quick download. Slow install.

Everything seems to be ok for daily use.

As my FP6 is in warranty, I use my FP3 and Iā€™m happy to use it in my car. It was not possible to hear sound in car during phone calls with my FP6, but with FP3 everything is ok.

Hope FP6 will do the same in few days / weeks.

Download was very fast, cheers to the team!

Issues that persist since the previous versions:

  • The phone does not automatically switch between day/night mode (regardless of whether the setting is to switch automatically according to daylight or at a specific hour).
  • Wi-Fi sometimes disconnects and fails to reconnect (connection shown as ā€œSaved / Disabledā€). This seems to be the case with mixed WPA2/WPA3 networks, see this thread WLAN-Connection goes on/off/on/off - #27 by otluk.
