There is yet another issue that appears since some time now: Every now and then (mostly once per day) touch input stops working for a short amount of time. This mostly happens when using the integrated browser app. Input is suddenly not working, i.e. you can slide, tip or slap the screen around and nothing happens. After about 5-10 seconds everything works again. This also affects other apps.

I’m also seeing this on 4.2 by the way, so it’s not new in 4.3.

• OnePlus 9 (lemonade)
• Previously OxygenOS 14
• Rooted with KernelSU-Next via reflash of an AnyKernel3 build for lemonade

These random freezes might have been in /e/OS for quite a while now, as I’m seeing reports of similar behavior even as far back as May of this year: Time for an official alternative to this "middle age" launcher ;) - #5 by Curious1.

Sidenote: this freeze issue may or may not be connected to my “Recents OCD bug” where sporadically the Recent Apps screen will swipe itself obsessively to the oldest app and actively fight me if I try to swipe in the opposite direction to get to the most recent app where the Recents screen should have opened by default.

Resolves if I tap the Recents navbar button 2 more times to close and reopen Recents, or if I rotate the screen to landscape orientation (and stays resolved if I rotate back to portrait).

I suspected it might be Smart Launcher doing it, but in the meantime I’ve been able to confirm it also happens with Total Launcher and with Bliss, so it’s not the launcher, it must be in the system somewhere.

I’m on e/OS 4.3-a16, Android 16, on Teracube phone.
I get this on another app “Something went wrong”,

“Check that Google Play is enabled on your device and that you’re using an up-to-date version before opening the app. If the problem persists try reinstalling the app”

Please fix asap -or, am I not setting a setting right?
