File manager: sort by newest as default

Whenever I start the file manager, I need to set the sort by to newest. I would love to be able to set this as a default.

Is this a feature request or did I miss something?

I would also be interested with the answer.

It is indeed a little bit frustrating to have to change the file sort each time.
And I could not find where to make the setting if it is possible.

up for this topic, it seem that it still has not been implemented and it would definetly be useful IMHO
