Filtering posts?

Is there any possibility to filter posts here in the forum?

I saw there are features in the hamburger menu in the top right corner. You can play there with categories and keywords. But I can’t figure out how this GUI works. I get no working result whatever I try there.

I want to filter out (I mean: remove) the many UNOFFICIAL BUILD posts because I have my device, I don’t have any interests in other devices at the moment, I also have no interests in unofficial builds.

There’s a keyword “unofficial-builds” used in 622 posts, but there are also actual posts without having this keyword. So the keyword seems not to be a good criterion. Probably the category “UnOfficial Builds” would be a better one. But how to make a filter on that?

If you go to https://community.e.foundation/c/e-devices/unofficial-builds/92, you should be able to set the :bell: symbol in the top right to “Muted”. Not sure if you already considered this and whether it fits what you are looking for.

Where to reverse this: Profile > Preferences >Tracking > Categories

No, I didn’t consider this until now. The reason is: I just couldn’t make the link from the bell to a filtering mechanism.

It will probably catch the more modern posts which seem to use the category consequently. Thanks a lot for this!

The remaining more than 500 older posts having the keyword “unofficial-builds” (and not the category) will need a more complicated filter. I’ll see what I can do there …

… ahh, you can also use the bell to mute all posts having a concrete keyword!
