Fingerprint doesn't work anymore FP5

Hi buddys,

Since few days, the fingerpring recognition stopped working. Boom. Like that.

Fairphone 5 - 3.4-a15-20260114569178-official-FP5

  1. Error message on my lockscreen > unable to recognise my fingerprint. I cleaned the button and so on.

  2. I tried to configure new fingerprints on settings, but I realized that : it is impossible to add or delete a new fingerpring (on deletion : not a system crash, just stuck in the setting and nothing happen / on adding : information page appears, I scroll down and the button to ontinue is grey and I cannot click on).

So I was wondering, event the button seems not to react anymore (no vibration) maybe it is not a hardware problem but a software bug, a problem from the system to access the fingerprint button ?

Did you ever have this problem ? Any help or manip to try before I send back my Fairphone to fix it ?
