Previously I had some issues with my fingerprint. It would say registering had not worked, but after that I could use it to unlock my phone. After that I could also use it in apps that required biometric unlock. The only issue was that after restarts a random fingerprint would disappear.
After updating to 4.3 none of my fingerprints work anymore. I could not use biometric unlock anymore. I tried to remove all my fingerprints and screen unlock. This took a long time and sometimes it didn’t work at all. After lots of retries I removed it all. Then she I tried registering again, I got the message that registering was unsuccessful.
Right now I can’t add any fingerprint. I can’t unlock anymore, rebooting doesn’t change anything. This started happening after the latest update on my Fairphone 6, 4.3-a16-20260917677552-official-FP6.
