Fitness tracking app recommendations

Hi All,

I am using Fairphone 6 with e/os and no Google account. One thing I miss from the Google days was an app called Sweatcoin that tracked my steps and gave me crypto in exchange for step goals.
Sadly this does not work on my new phone, without connecting to a google account. And I can’t find ANY step tracking app that will count my steps at all. I’m sure the hardware itself is capable of counting steps? No?

So any recommendations? I do not have any external fitness devices.
