Forgot unlock pattern on Samsung S7

Hello,
I’m new to /e/OS and installed it on an old Samsung S7 some time ago.
The installation worked well.
After I put it aside for a while I wanted to explore it again.
Unfortunately, I forgot the unlock pattern.
I noted down a password but can not get around the unlock pattern.
Is there a solution for me?
As I have no data yet on the phone I could do a factory reset if I only knew how…

You can use the Search feature in Settings.

If you search for reset, Factory reset appears under

Settings > System > Advanced > Reset options …

Alternatively you can boot into Recovery mode with

Volume up + Bixby + Power.

Here you find Reset as one of the options within Wipe.
