I would very much like to use /e/OS on this. It is about as generic a chinese phone can be - save from being ruggedized and having a huge 10600 mAh battery (and a silly second display on the rear which I don’t care about).
Which is why I love it - I charge it once a week and it is one-hand-friendly with its 5.5” display and chubby thickness. I don’t really want to trade it for something lesser just to get compatibility, I would vastly prefer for the compatibility to emerge…
It seems all of those compatible phones are large series from big brand manufacturers. Is it really that impossible to make more generic images for this type of run-of-the-mill, 2021-class-Mediatek-SoC phones?
