As far as I can see, the issue was never solved am I correct? Are there any plans to solve this Problem?

Some days ago I saw that stock camera app is now working, but photos take with max resolution are worst than others.

New in /e/OS v2.2 :

:iphone: Fairphone 4

  • You’ll now be able to enjoy Fairphone’s default camera app to take pictures if you want to, you just need to enable one setting and reboot your phone. Warning though, for now the video mode does not work, it’ll be fixed in a next release.
  • The 48MP/50MPx mode has been added into /e/OS Camera for this phone

No, this is the Fairphone app made available for FP owner with eOS.

How so?
“/e/OS Camera” very much sounds like the default /e/OS App, especially when in the same text they talk about how “Fairphone’s default camera app” can now be enabled via an extra setting.
