I tried to go with the web installer but finally went for ADB manual install (Install /e/OS on a Fairphone FP5 - “FP5”) on my Fairphone 5.
I installed e/os and all went smooth. I reinstalled all my apps until I found out that my security code/fingerprints not working. The phone is not protected. Since I use, on a daily basis, my banking apps. Impossible to use them without password or fingerprints protection. So I decided to reinstall from scratch by following the procedure… thinking that it would solve my problem.
After second re-installation:
- Security password or fingerprints still not working.
- New problem, I’m unable to install certain apps like firefox. App lounge won’t find it or download it, Aurora store tells me that the app is unavailable for my phone model. FFupdate tells me that it cannot install it because of FRP security protection. Same thing with my train app (cff mobile app) that I use every day.
I tried cleaning up cache and storage, create a new google account… nothing work. I can install app that I didn’t have before.
It’s really a bummer since I’ve been waiting a year to reinstalling e/os easily via web installer. But proud to have done it manually.
Can someone help me getting my apps back and activate security code/fingerprints ?
