FP5: USB not working except usb flash drive

Hello,

on my FP5, only flash drive connected on USB and charging, are working. I can read and write data on usb stick. If I connect another device, it is not recognized.

If I connect the phone on a linux computer, the phone is charging, but there is no notification as explained in How to Backup and Restore your /e/OS phone

I have done multiple tests with various devices, cables :

  • usb-c to jack for head phone : nothing, I can’t switch the audio output to the headphones
  • ESP 32 for DIY stuff, nothing except power
  • Android Auto : only power, AA is working with bluetooth on the same car.

On the linux side, no logs in dmesg are appended when connecting the phone.

What can I try ?

Thanks for your answer, I tried it, reboot the phone and it still doesn’t work.

I had this problème and i changed the USB.
