Sim card is detected, but initially didn’t accept pin (correct pin). Was still communicating with the network, was able to reset pin with puk (but that wasn’t the issue only my first attempt of a solution). Somehow after resetting and deleting memories and cache as proposed by AI, I managed to not even be able to activate the sim (grayed out). Supposedly the modem has blocked the SIM. In my old phone it works. I read the issue in Fairphone Forum as well as here about this problem other users had in June 2026. It seems there is no technical solution, which I find unsatisfactory. Unfortunately eSim doesn’t work either (technical issue at yallo). What can I contribute to get a proper fix for that issue? Does it have to do with a problematic xml, and couldn’t that be replaced, does it need to be organized from somewhere so it is included in an update? How are these problems forwarded to the developers of /e/OS?
