Phone calls.
Confirmed that phone calls both in and out work OK, with sound streaming through my hearing aids.
In: single bleep heard in hearing aids, then phone rings through speaker - this is good. Other party’s voice heard through hearing aids and they can hear me OK (phone microphone used).
Out: Single bleep then dialling tone heard through hearing aids. Two way conversation OK as with incoming call.
ISSUE: Although in both cases the volume through my hearing aids when set at maximum for Bluetooth calls is just loud enough for me in a quiet room, it would be better if this could be increased further, especially for when in noisier surroundings.
Notification sounds
ISSUE: Notification sounds (mail, message, screenshot at least) confirmed not to play when Bluetooth LE is enabled, either through phone speaker or hearing aids. Whereas alarm and phone ringing play OK through the phone speaker, notifications do not play even though they also are set to.
Further testing
I still need to test then report on how both incoming and outgoing phone calls work in my car. These used to work fine but stopped working after a recent update, linked to included Bluetooth LE changes I think.
