Freeing up storage space delayed, why and how?

Hi, I reached my 1 GB limit on the Murena cloud and started deleting emails on the server. I managed to remove at least 300 MB, e.g., from my Sent folder, which Thunderbird confirms has been emptied. I emptied Trash as well and compacted folders in Thunderbird. Still over quota. Outgoing mail fails. The web UI still shows 1 GB of 1 GB (101.07%) used.

Questions:

  1. When do deletions free server space after purge/expunge?
  2. Is there a way to force a quota recalculation or server-side expunge?
  3. Where can I see per-folder sizes on the server to confirm?

Just in case: have you empty Trash also in the Murena cloud?

Yes, I have. The actions done on the website. Thunderbird used for sync and status confirmation.

The space has been freed up by now. It is unknown to me, when this happened, sometime between 6 to 18 hours from the user purge action.
