I’m been using the Freetrade app for a while now on my FP4, but it stopped working a couple of weeks ago with the following error message:
Your device’s integrity cannot be confirmed and it is not safe to run Freetrade on this device.
I’ve got in touch with their support team and it seems this is happening because of a Google device integrity check:
As you suggested, we unfortunately can’t guarantee support for the mobile device / operating system you’re currently using. The error message you’re seeing is the result of a Google device integrity check, telling us that device and/or operating system is not trusted by Google. Your Freetrade mobile app relies on Google services to provide secure authentication and to keep your data safe. I can see you said you’re running /e/OS, which is specifically designed to avoid integrating with Google services, so this is likely to be the problem.
Does anyone know of a workaround (other than using their website instead of mobile app) or this should be a new entry to [LIST] Apps that work or do not work with microG
I’ve got a Fairphone 4 running /e/OS 2.8.
Thanks
