Galaxy s10+: How to avoid display activity after shuttlingsa

Hello, I’ve remarked that my phone get active, after that the device is shuttled.
My problem is that’s a happened by walking if I’ve it in the pocket.
The display goes on and out regularly, and sometimes if I hear music it stop the song or go to the next. or touch some dial.
I’ve tried to have a look on some options like activate display by shuttling, but found nothing.
I’d like that it stop to reactivate the display by shuttling.
Have someone some ideas to handle it please ?

Sorry,
I’ve never seen that simply while walking.
But while I listen music with VLC, screen can react to some contacts in some circumstances. As far I know, it only happen with a wired headphones. If I run with my wife’s bluetooth headphones it never happens.

May a combination of “no button on lock screen” / bluetooth headphones could help.

Another tips could be to check if a shortcut like double-tap can lead to an action. On my previous phone, sometimes the camera was turn on this was. It drains the battery and make my pocket quiet hot !

My two cents.

Thank you very much for the answer.
By me I observed that the screen goes on and off “by itself” in pocket by some moves.
Then if it was on and I heard some music. then some move detection make some other command for the player which is running.
Now after reading you i’ve searched some buttons and shortcuts. And found by lockscreen some display mode to activate the screen if it’s off, like go on with hand on move detection, and pocket move out detection.
What’s odd is, for both functionalities, the description tells that the notification light goes on if it happens. With light I would only think that this mini led nearby the front camera would rise, not the whole display.
Now I deactivate it, it seems that’s stop. but I’ll give me some time to observe it, and play with.
Thank you for your intervention, it gave some other ideas where to search :grinning:

there is one setting for the device handling with the movement sensor.
2 others are with the proximity sensor, which for one is supposed to detect the hand over movement, and the other one to detect the pocket move out.
I think the 1st one leads to my problem, maybe in combination with the others…

Well,
Proximity sensor reminds me something… But I cannot find it in settings anymore :frowning:
Good luck!
