Galaxy S9 -- Model number SM-G960W

Specifically bought this phone thinking it was supported having seen Galaxy S9 in the supported devices list. So I’ve spent a chunk of $ and I’m a little disappointed now that I’ve tried to download /e/ for this phone only to find that my new phone’s submodel SM-G960W is not listed.

Where do I start for addressing what may be lacking in the /e/ implementation for this phone? I’m willing to start coding.

/e/OS is very similar to LineageOS and refers to it as a fork of LineageOS with special extensions.

LineageOS Wiki Info about starlte : Supported models: SM-G960F, F/DS, N.
/e/ documentation Supported models: SM-G960F, F/DS, N. Other models are not supported.

The serious and decisive change between the Samsung models: System-on-a-Chip (Soc):
SM-G960F, F/DS: Soc - Samsung Exynos 9810 - EMEA
SM-G960W, U: Soc - Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 - USA/LATAM, China

Perhaps a small consolation:

Thanks SuzieQ, appreciate the heads-up re work at xda-developers for my cpu.
