Why you can’t ? I’ts possible to install app from the Play Storre trough App Lounge or Aurora Store.
Should be fine, ive used it on FP4 and on Nothing CMF 1 without issues.
You could also consider the app ‘Gadgetbridge’ , to prevent Garmin having all your personal (health) data.
Works just fine on my Fairphone 4. It even syncs automatically, which my iPhone didn’t do
Garmin connect and Garmin iQ works fine.
