GeoVelo location access

Hello there,

Proud owner of a new FP3+, I tried using GeoVelo app for tailored directions on a bike but the app does not seem to get the location properly (even after giving the permission “Allow while app is running”, the “Always allow” option is not offered).

It only gets the last known location, for example

  1. I fire up Maps, location is correct
  2. I launch GeoVelo, location takes a time to display but seems correct
  3. I quit Maps
  4. I move a bit in the city with GeoVelo on foreground, nothing moves
  5. I launch Maps again, location is correct, in GeoVelo nothing has changed

For the moment, I resort to use the Maps app, but I would like to know why GeoVelo is buggy.
