German ID card app: AusweisApp2 not working on Fairphone 6

Hi,
I would like to use the online functions of the German ID card. AusweisApp from f-droid is available in the store, but the installation is not working. After hitting the install button, the progress bar reaches the 100% and afterwards the button says, I should try again. Any help would be highly appreciated.

I was running into the same issue. I guess it is using some Google API and fails to find it. So the issue might be related to microG:

I was able to install it with F-Droid Basic and the App works just fine. Just tested it.

(Same for OsmAnd~)
